Our services

From our registered advice service to our esteemed garden project, SDCAS services offer an integrated approach to rights and wellbeing.

Advice

We offer advice and support to help clients with housing and homelessness, immigration (OISC level 1), debt and benefits, education, employment and more. We have a number of partnerships with other organisations, allowing us to signpost and refer clients to the most appropriate support.

Health

Working with our partners at the NHS Health Inclusion Team, we help our clients register with a GP, access NHS and third-sector health and wellbeing services, and resolve issues around NHS charging and NHS debt.

Social

We run a range of social and wellbeing activities at our day centres including arts, massage, knitting, storytelling and more. Our Garden Project provides a safe space for clients to unwind, meet friends and learn new skills in a supportive environment.

Poverty relief

We serve a free lunch to any clients visiting our day centres. For those most in need, we offer a small number of food and clothing donations and can sometimes offer small hardship payments or apply for individual grants. We signpost and refer clients to organisations like food banks, debt advice charities and benefits advice services.

Education

We offer basic English classes (ESOL) at our centres and can signpost and refer clients to a range of organisations specialising in education and employment options.
