We offer an excellent selection of secondhand books, delicious home-made cakes, good coffee and the opportunity to help a very worthwhile charity.

We appreciate book donations but as we have very limited storage space, we ask for no more than 3 books at a time.

We have raised thousands of pounds for SDCAS. The need however is as great as ever and so the Bookstalls continue.
The Copleston Centre is one of three day centres where each week nearly 200 asylum seekers and refugees receive all types of advice, food, clothing and importantly – a sense of belonging and togetherness. most
SDCAS express their thanks to Ruth, the bookstall bakers, volunteers and supporters for their generous time and donations.
Forthcoming dates in 2025 will take place on 11th October, and the 13th December. Posters for sharing and confirming dates will be displayed in advance on the SDCAS website.
