Securing Our Future: Big Lottery Award for a New Third Centre
We have wonderful news from the Big Lottery – we have been awarded £481,272 over the next 3 years. It’s a huge relief, after lots of paperwork and weeks of conversations with our grants officers. Join us for an evening of music in aid of SDCAS
Ferdene Wind and String Quintet will be performing a fascinating evening of music on Saturday, 23rd September, 7:00pm at the Copleston Centre. Tickets are available on the door (£10) and all proceeds raised are in aid of Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers. Who is performing? 7:00pm: Arrive early for a special warm-up with Shem on the Fiddle and Mandolin.

Meet our Volunteers – Kathryn
Hey there, I’m Kathryn and I’ve been volunteering with SDCAS for around a month now, so I’m still fairly new here! I wanted to share a glimpse of my experience with you all. I work in the kitchen within one of our centres weekly on a Wednesday. My role involves preparing and serving meals, as well as cleaning up afterward.

25 July – Copleston Centre Closed
Hello – please note the Copleston Centre will be closed to clients this Tuesday, 25th July because of a staff away day. We’e open again as usual on August 1st 2023.
