Our Cafe is 5/5
We all know how good the food is at our centres. Now the excellence of the cafe has been officially recognised: during a recent inspection it scored the highest possible points in all categories, and so can now boast of a 5/5 Food Hygiene Rating. GALA Fundraising Total
Daniel, our contact at the GALA festival, has done the sums and says that together we raised £11,200 at the festival. Monthly Bookstall – See You There!
Our bookstall has raised thousands over the 7 years since it was set up by volunteer Ruth. It has an excellent selection of books, and is a good chance to meet people for a chat, but the really good news is that it also sells coffee and delicious cakes. It takes place in the Copleston Centre every other month, and

Volunteering at GALA
What made the day special was the fantastic support for our work, and the clear opposition to the government’s immigration policy. As probably the oldest person at the festival, I left massively reassured that the future will be in better hands. ‘
