We offer an excellent selection of secondhand books, delicious home-made cakes, good coffee and the opportunity to help a very worthwhile charity. Please bring cash. We appreciate book donations but as we have very limited storage space, we ask for no more than 3 books at a time. We are always very glad to welcome new visitors and supporters. Do

Each year, our team raises nearly £10,000 at GALA to support our vital work with refugees and people seeking asylum — and we’d love you to be part of it. It’s a great day out, a chance to meet new people, and a brilliant opportunity to spread the word about what we do. Volunteers will be helping with fundraising activities

Bookstalls are held on alternate months, on Saturday mornings from 10.30 to 12.30 (the second Saturday of the month) in aid of Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS). The Saturday Bookstalls have been running for nine years to raise funds for SDCAS. They are held on alternate months (February, April, June, October and December) with a summer break
