Agenda
We will be having a talk on challenging conversations at 10.30am. The talk will be given by a speaker, Claire Wilson, who works at Hope Not Hate, an organisation that work to build skills and resilience across communities to resist the organised far right. Please do note that her training will involve discussion around sensitive issues.
Finally, a reminder that you can arrive whenever best suits you. If you would prefer to arrive after the talk on challenging conversations or cannot make the morning, then you are more than welcome to arrive for the volunteers sharing item at 12.
Lunch and food
Lunch will be provided for everyone attending and participating in the day. We are lucky to be having Yogi Sivakolundu cooking for us again. Last year his food was delicious!
Regarding Accessibility:
Waterloo Action Centre (WAC) is fully wheelchair accessible, including the toilets. We will only be using the ground floor so no there will be no steps. Please contact me or WAC (wac.admin@gmail.com) with any further accessibility questions.
Transportation Options:
The nearest tube stations are Waterloo (Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern and Waterloo & City lines), Southwark (Jubilee line) and Lambeth North (Bakerloo line). All stations are under a ten-minute walk away. You can also get to the venue by train, by going to either Waterloo or Waterloo East.
Multiple bus routes (including 1, 12, 68, 176, 188, C10) stop within a 5-minute walk of the museum.
