Free Hot Food in and near Southwark
1. The Manna Day Centre – open everyday – (other than 24th, 25th, 26th, 27 and 28th of December)
Melior Street, London SE1 3QP. Free Breakfast (8.30am – 9.30am) & lunch (11:30am to 1.30pm). Meals are Sit-down in sittings of 40 at a time.
2. Crisis at Christmas Day Centres – open from 24th until the 28th December
Centres will be open 10am – 5pm from 24th December to 28th December 2024 serving food. Locations:

Homelessness 🏡🛌🏻 🏡🛌🏻
1. Streetlink
Streetlink is a charity that links people rough sleeping with local support services.
If you are rough sleeping and call them and let them know you need help they will send outreach workers to come and find you late at night or early in the morning where you are sleeping. They will try and find you accommodation if they can. Sometimes this is the same night. Sometimes it takes a lot longer. But they are there to help you. The number is: 0300 500 0914. They have interpreters available on the phone if needed.
2. Crisis at Christmas Day Centres
Open for anyone to attend. No referral is needed you can just turn up at the centre. Centres will be open 10am – 5pm from 24th December to 28th December 2024. Locations:

The centre provides:
Hot meals and snacks, Shower facilities, Toiletries, Advice, information and support, Free international phone calls, Healthcare, podiatry and opticians, A salon service offering haircuts, hair styling, beard trims and nail care, Computer access, printing and support to get online, Creative sessions, Films and TV, Games, quizzes and bingo, Sports (including a football tournament!)
Sometimes they can also offer accommodation. If you are sleeping rough and have an outreach worker ask them to refer you to “Crisis at Christmas accommodation”. If you don’t have an outreach worker contact Streetlink to get one.
homelessness support Service – Doors open at 8:30am, for advice specifically they work Monday to Thursday and you are encouraged to arrive at 7:00am to queue to see an advisor. The rest of the service is open 7 days a week. They also provide food, showers, laundry facilities and clothing. Open seven days a week from 8.30am – 1.30pm. 5. Missionaries of Charity – Men’s Homeless Shelter (closed from 25th December and re opening on 1st of January) – Missionaries of Charity, 112 – 116 St George’s Rd, London SE1 6EU – Phone: 020 7620 1504. Phone them to see if you can get a bed space.

7. The Marylebone Project– Marylebone Project, 1-5 Cosway St, London NW1 5NR – 020 3959 1444 (no promise they can accommodate you but you can call and ask or go in person and ask. Even if they can’t accommodate they might be able to give advice and support)

- For any physical or mental health non urgent issues you can contact your GP if you have one. Alternatively if you are in a Home Office hotel you could also ask at reception for details of if there is a health inclusion team visiting the hotel you could see.
- For any urgent physical or mental health issues you call 111 and ask for an interpreter if needed. This is the NHS helpline and they will try and help you.
- In a physical or mental health emergency you can call 999 or attend your nearest A&E
