Bookstalls are held on alternate months, on Saturday mornings from 10.30 to 12.30 (the second Saturday of the month) in aid of Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS).
The Saturday Bookstalls have been running for nine years to raise funds for SDCAS. They are held on alternate months (February, April, June, October and December) with a summer break from July to September.
The first ever Bookstall was on 16th January 2016. Thanks to the generous team of volunteers and supporters, we have raised thousands of pounds for SDCAS. The need however is as great as ever and so the Bookstalls continue.
We offer an excellent selection of second-hand books, delicious home-made cakes, good coffee and the opportunity to help a very worthwhile charity.
We appreciate donated books but as we have very limited storage space, we ask for no more than three books at a time. Please bring cash.
We are always very glad to welcome new visitors and supporters. Please join us on Saturday 12th April, from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
